New Music | Lemaitre – High Tide

[N]orway’s Lemaitre seems to be picking up a ton of momentum with their brand of indie-pop with tinges of disco and electronica have been sweeping up all over the place, and it’s landed in my lap with their recent cut, “High Tide”, a song I’ve been jamming out to quite a bit. “High Tide” has the pop sensibilities of Phoenix, it’s instant ear candy as soon as that disco-era effects drop, the keys drop in and the bass booms. I knew that quickly this was going to be a jam I had to share. Recently the band signed with Astralwerks and this is the first single off the upcoming EP. This band is super exciting, and they are making some terribly catchy, fun tunes that I keep coming back to. Good luck only listening to this once.
