Musician Sarah Persephona hails from St. Petersburg, Russia and creates her dreamy, lo-fi sound under the moniker angelic milk. The music world was first introduced to her last year with the release of the single, “IDK How,” but those in the know (writer side note: I was not one of them) found the artist online a few years back when a then sixteen year old Persehpona began recording songs in her bedroom and releasing them to Bandcamp.
Everyone is now beginning to take notice of the Russian rocker and angelic milk’s debut EP, Teenage Movie Soundtrack, will be released via PNKSLM Recordings on July 15th. The first single is titled, “Rebel Black,” and it has enough sharp hooks to catch all the fish in Lake Ladoga. Yep that’s right, you get some great new music and a geography lesson in one post!
Looking forward to hearing more from this EP. With summer right around the corner “Rebel Black” should be added to all the “driving while the windows are down and the music is blasting” playlists.
