The latest WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is focused smack-dab on Boston, Massachusetts and shines down on the tremendously catchy new single, “Acetone,” from local lads Vundabar. It’s the band’s first single from their upcoming album, Smell Smoke, which is due out February 23rd, 2018.
Vundabar have long been Boston’s best kept secret band, amassing a huge following in the area thanks to plenty of appearances in local venues and for a killer live show. They’ve been nominated numerous times in various categories for the Boston Music Awards, including 2017’s nominations for “Unsigned Artist of the Year” and “Alternative/Indie Artist of the Year.” With a seemingly non-stop touring schedule they have also been working on gathering new fans across the country, so it is needless to say these guys won’t be a “secret” for much longer.
Speaking of that non-stop touring schedule, Vundabar hit the road for massive fall US tour starting tonight, October 24th, with The Frights and Hockey Dad. The gang hit Cambridge on Monday, November 20th for a show at The Sinclair so you better get it together and get out and see them live when they are back in town.
