This past Tuesday evening the jazz force that is King Shabaka (AKA Shabaka Hutchings,) Danalogue the Conquerer (AKA Dan Leavers,) and Betamax Killer (AKA Max Hallett) brought their unique blend of jazz, electronica, funk, and psychedelic rock to the Crystal Ballroom in Somerville. And woah, I was not ready for that.
Collectively known as The Comet is Coming and touring behind their latest album Hyper-Dimensional Expansion Beam the trio is an absolute force to be reckoned with and you should do everything in your power to get out to one of their remaining tour dates.
