Press Play I feel like I’m more stoked about the music on this mixtape than maybe any other month, but when I look back and I see other mixtapes, I think I say the exact thing every month. Regardless, this November dispatch of tunes is fantastic, and I’m super psyched to get it in front of your eyes an in your ears. Enjoy, and as always let me know what I missed!

Press Play October was a spooky good month for new music, and I’m psyched for the broad range of music that we’ve got on this playlist. Everything from power pop jams to jangly americana to lo-fi ambling indie rock. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. As always if there’s something I missed, please leave a comment and tell me what it is.
Leave a CommentHEY YOU GUY-Y-Y-Y-YS!!! Did I get your attention? Yes, I did just open this post with the opening phrase of everyone’s favorite educational television show, The Electric Company, for no other reason than that sums up how we are feeling that our favorite time of the year is only one sleep away. We have been eagerly anticipating the music extravaganza about to unfold this weekend and have counted the days for eight thousand six hundred and eighty eight hours to the moment we are all back at the folk fort. If you have any doubt on the truth of the statement…
Leave a CommentAnother great month of music, almost too much of it, to keep the format of 40 songs from the month I ended up pulling a few favorites. But there are some great songs in here, and I know I will continue to come back to this mixtape as the year goes along. I’ve had a ton of fun putting this together, and hope you enjoy.
Leave a Comment[T]his is my mixtape for the month of July, there was so much good music this month, I couldn’t even keep this to 20 songs. Great new tunes from Savage favorites Chuck Prophet, Blake Mills, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and even a few we never thought we’d like and we were totally surprised. So hit play, sit back, open your ears and enjoy.
7 Comments[T]his is the first month I’ve tried this, so it’s kind of test, but I’m looking for the best way to bring back monthly mixtapes, and maybe I’ve found it. Seeing as giving away mp3’s are a thing of the past, we’ve got a delightful stream of music we dug from the last month. If you are looking for something to turn on, and fall in love with, jump on in, and press play, I hope you enjoy my June of 2014.
