‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse, the stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Dan Blakeslee & The Calabash Club soon would be there!

Dan Blakeslee has long been a staple of the New England art scene and it just wouldn’t be the holidays without the merriest of all of Santa’s helpers gifting us the most holly jolliest music this side of the North Pole.

Earlier this month he and the band released their brand new holiday album titled “Christmasland Jubilee” to the delight of all the boys and girls who had been especially good this year. It is a jubilant collection of original and classic yuletide tunes guaranteed to fill you full of festive cheer.

I would love nothing more this Christmas than for you to give this new album a listen right now! From the moment the jingle bells kick in on the opening number, “Mister Candy Cane,” all the way through to the beautiful closing song of hope and peace, “Let’s Start Again,” you will find yourself wrapped up in the glory and wonder of the season.
