I’m really excited about Boston’s [Larcenist](http://www.musicsavage.com/2011/03/new-music-larcenist-leon/ "New Music | Larcenist – Leon") getting back into the studio. They’ve been playing all over the Northeast area for the last year, and now they are bringing “doomfolk” into Q Division studios for a second full length. Check out a recording of their song “Starless,” which likely will be on the record in question. The song was [recorded live](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85XlBuaRKVg&ref=musicsavage.com) in Bryan Minto’s home in Providence, RI. “Starless” features a reverby almost spacey vocal style which gives an instant feeling distance and volume. Its quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and I am really looking forward to hearing more from these guys.
