\[C\]ass McCombs always delivers something truly evocative, and this lo-fi, bedroom tune definitely fits the mold. On his upcoming record *Big Wheel and Others*, is this stunning track that features the late actress / screenwriter / musician Karen Black, who collaborated with McCombs on “Brighter!,” a track that truly mesmerizes, with a 60’s pop, Ronettes like percussion, sultry vocals from Black, and sweeping instrumentation from pedal steel that gives it a bit of emotional level thats truly stunning.

Look for Big Wheel and Others October 15th.
