\[T\]ouring like mad has turned Chicago band Filligar is turning the band into what everyone thought they could become, a force in music. Their live show has always shown who they were, a brash young group who definitely had the makings of something special, they almost seemed to explode with energy, and passion, and in this new track, “New Local,” the band drives the song and sound with pounding drums, pulsing piano riffs and big guitar s all with a giant dash of bombast. If this track doesn’t lift you out of your seat, you might not have a soul.

Look for New Local on Filligar’s upcoming record titled, Hexagon, out July 23rd.
