# New Music | Frightened Rabbit - Death Dream

Super excited for the brand new release from Frightened Rabbit and I’m very happy to share with you the new single, “Death Dream.” The track is the opening number from the Scottish band’s forthcoming album, *Painting of a Panic Attack*, out April 8th via Canvasback Music/Atlantic Records.

It’s been three years since we have had new Frightened Rabbit music and about the same amount of time since the boys last tour of the states supporting their fourth album, *Pedestrian Verse.* During those years lead singer Scott Hutchison, along with fellow Rabbit members Andy Monaghan (guitar/keyboards), and Simon Liddell (guitar) recorded and released an eponymous album under the moniker Owl John. With the whole gang back together the new FR music is as gorgeous and as haunting as ever.

“Death Dream” is everything you want to hear from the frightened five-piece. The beautifully orchestrated number slowly builds, adding new layers of sound and harmony with each new verse. When the horns come in and the voices are swirling around in your head, the song gently ends and you find yourself pressing play once again.

They are heading back our way this year for a set of shows which kick off on April 21st. The tour hits Boston May 9th with a stop at the House of Blues. Full list of tour dates below.
