Glad to see Alex Casnoff (ex-member of Dawes) has landed somewhere. His new band, Harriet, is embarking on the self-release of their debut EP, *Tell The Right Story*, on January 31, 2012\. The first single being “I Slept With All Your Mothers,” which has whispers of Dawes influence (check out the percussion and basslines … *When My Time Comes* much?) feels big and near cinematic. Its a powerful sound, and barely harnesses Casnoff’s staunch anthemic vocals.

It’s exciting news for fans of Casnoff’s and I look forward to the end of the month to give this a listen.

Harriet is Alex Casnoff, Aaron Folb (bass), Henry Kwapis (drums), and Adam Gunther (guitar). *Tell The Right Story* was produced by Sean O’Brien and recorded in Los Angeles and Sacramento.
