\[T\]he artist formerly known as Corndawg, now Jonny Fritz, has been prepping a new album for quite some time. After getting funded on Kickstarter, he recorded Dad Country ,with Taylor Goldsmith, to be the new answer to Outlaw Country. I was also really happy to see he reached another career milestone was reached when he recently signed with ATO Records, in true outlaw fashion, signing his record deal with with a quill pen. Dad Country hits shelves on April 16th, and he’s releasing his first single off the record, a previously recorded track titled “Ain’t It Your Birthday,” a witty, fun country track that will have you whistling along, humming moments later, and joining in on every chorus.

Fritz is one of the hardest working guys out there, and we’re superbly happy to see things working out so well for him, selfishly it gets him into our town to play shows, and entertain us with his very own brand of music, one that we really love.
