“One of These Days,” is the first single from Richmond, VA’s Matthew E. White, a downtempo number that features gentle vocals that are haunting (its a juxtaposition that does work pretty well) personal, & soulful yet modest. The subtlety and gentleness makes the cross into the guitars and slight swell on the horns & choir. This is a great sounding track that will be played again and again.
His self-produced debut LP, Big Inner, will be released in August; a limited “One Of These Days” 7″ will be released on July 24 (but is available for preorder now).
