\[O\]n October 16th, Boston’s rock quartet Mean Creek will release their next album, *Youth Companion,* through Old Flame Records. They recorded the album at 1867 Record Studio with Chris McLaughlin, the same producer on their album, *The Sky (Or the Underground)*, and are releasing this fantastic single “Young and Wild,” a song that has a lot of bombast, it feels as though the band was shooting for something large and expansive. The pounding drums that pervade throughout the song set the tone for the all-out chorus’.
