[B]ack in December of 2011 I posted up early tracks from Sad Baby Wolf, a project from ex Shins’ keyboardist Marty Crandall and former member Neal Langford. They were reverb drench rock tunes, they shimmered and echoed like dreampop, or toiled in a psych kind of pastiche. Now they are gearing up to release the record, Electric Sounds, and the first single being the title track.

The track has that Shins dream like trance state, and the vocals do the perfect job of continuing that tradition, as well as the stabbing guitar riffs and ambient sounds that seem to drift from left to right.

Look for more from these guys come April when Electric Sounds is officially released.
