# New Music | The 1975 – Chocolate

\[M\]anchester’s The 1975 are quickly becoming kings of the UK music scene and have gone from opening band to headliner status on the strength of two brilliant EPs, *Facedown* and *Sex.* The band’s forthcoming EP is titled *Music for Cars* and will be available stateside March 5th on [Vagrant Records](http://www.vagrant.com/?ref=musicsavage.com).

The 1975 are currently working on their debut full-length album and have hit the road on a massive tour to answer the call of their burgeoning popularity. They make their US debut with a string of shows at the ever-popular SXSW festival in Austin, TX (March 12th – 16th) and will spend the rest of the month touring the eastern half of the country.
