\[S\]eattle serenader Travis Nelson is a hard working musician who self-released his debut EP titled *Shadows on the Street* in July of 2013 under the moniker Traverdan. The Music Savage gang are big fans of artists who take on the task of creating and promoting their own material, and Nelson is a one-man marketing machine. Take a listen to that sweet and twangy Americana sound in the track “Misunderstanding” and you’ll hear why we think its only a matter of time before we see Traverdan on the folk-rock festival circuit. Word of mouth can carry a talented musician far across the social media landscape these days, hopefully one day soon Travis Nelson will cross the actual landscape and find himself on the Atlantic coast… guitar in hand of course.
