New Music | Butcher the Bar – Bobby

Butcher The Bar – Bobby Manchester-based artist Butcher The Bar (aka Joel Nicholson) just announced his first new material in three years in the form of sophomore LP, For Each A Future Tethered, set for release via Morr Music on June 21. Echoing the earnest songwriting of and vocal stylings of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith Butcher The Bar’s ‘Bobby‘ is a warm sounding indie folk song with that quiet whisper vocal that creates a sort of intimacy that is totally entrancing. Dawes announces new record, releases single If I Wanted Someone

Dawes – If I Wanted Someone

The album, entitled Nothing is Wrong will be the follow up to their fantastic North Hills album which was out 2 years ago. One of my absolute favorite bands out there, they are just so fantastic and I’m near jumping out of my seat at hearing the first recording of this track.

Grab a copy for yourself:

You need to see this band live. Period. And they are making it easy…
