Fujiya & Miyagi – 16 Shades of Black and Blue

This is the video for 16 Shades of Black off of Fujiya & Miyagi’s 4th album ‘Ventriloquizzing.‘  In this vid, F & M use these sinister little buggers, ventriloquist’s dummies. It’s really dark, atmospheric and creepy, which seems to fit the theme of the album.  Look for Ventriloquizzing  1/17/11. Beady Eye – Bring the Light

Bring the Light Beady Eye is the new project from Oasis, sans Noel Gallagher.  Liam and the boys have recorded this 60s inspired piano led rock track, thats loose and fast.  The album details have yet to surface, and this may lack the songwriting of Noel Gallagher, but its got a fun feel, its certainly not what I was expecting, and that may be in Noel’s absence.  That may or may not be a good thing, I’ve yet to fully form an opinion on this one 3:30 of music but for now, its fun to listen to.  I caught this…

Video | Bad Books – You Wouldn’t Have to Ask

The official music video for “You Wouldn’t Have To Ask” from Bad Books self-titled debut album. Bad Books is Kevin Devine + Manchester Orchestra.   The video is very Buddy Holly / 60’s American Bandstand-esque. Check my review of Bad Books’ album here.
