New IMAROBOT track: Ruthless (mp3 / videos)

Ruthless

Do you remember when Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros was frontman of Ima Robot?  It seems as though Ebert and bandmates Tim Anderson and Fillip Nicolic have put together a new album entitled Another Man’s Treasure which is slated to be released October 19th.  The album, produced by guitarist Tim Anderson will be released on his label, Werewolf Heart Records.  Check out the single, Ruthless, and after the break… there are two videos the first is a live action and animation video the band made with director Noaz Deshe, and the second is an really cool skate video produced by Spike Jonzeand directed byTy Evansfor Lakai.

Check Out: The Thermals’ Never Listen to Me

Never Listen to Me The Thermals released another track from their EP Personal Life, which will get a proper 7-inch release on October 19.  This track lacks the normal wild energy that the Thermals bring, but it’s still a pretty catchy track, with all of the normal fuzzy guitar grime that you’d normally expect from them. Personal Life is available on KillRockStars

New Suckers video for ‘A Mind I Knew’

Suckers’ artful experimental album Wild Smile, was a huge surprise for me.  It was sprawling, wonderfully catchy, and I played the hell out of it.  They have toured the globe in support of it, and have now produced a video completed with found footage from a storage unit. I could not more highly suggest you check out Suckers’ Wild Smile. Check out more from Suckers Website |  Facebook |  Twitter |  Myspace
