Paste has recently [posted a stream](http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/av/2012/06/album-stream-ryan-monroes-a-painting-of-a-painting.html?ref=musicsavage.com) of Ryan Monroe’s new album *A Painting of a Painting On Fire*, which releases on June 12th; and if you haven’t been made acquaintance with Monroe’s music, he also has released two singles, [one of which](http://www.musicsavage.com/2012/05/new-music-ryan-monroe-turning-over-leaves/ "New Music | Ryan Monroe – Turning Over Leaves") I posted a short while ago, and this new one “Any Way, Shape Or Deformity,” an ELO-like single that is delightful, a little silly, but altogether a really fun sound (which to me feels a little Dr. Dog-ish). The record is shaping up to be quite an eclectic set of songs, with influences mapped all over the progressive 70’s rock era.
