This week’s WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is on the outstanding single, “Goodbye Queen,” from Nashville-based musician Jaime Wyatt. The new track is the from her upcoming album, Neon Crosses, out May 29th via New West Records.
Wyatt recently relocated from Los Angeles to the Music City where she began work on the new record, teaming up with Shooter Jennings to produce, and signing with New West to get the music out to the world. The highly anticipated album is the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2017 EP, Felony Blues, which was named one of the best releases of the year by established music publications from Rolling Stone Country, Vice, and Wide Open Country just to name a few.
The musician has battled a few demons on her way to the eventual stardom she deserves. Overcoming drugs and alcohol have helped to shape the stories she creates in song about the battles that have been both won and lost throughout the years. The message being no matter the outcome it is the fight that helps us persevere.
I love everything I have heard from this album and I think you will as well. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy in the link below!
