Song of the Week | Terror Watts - Time Bomb

The latest WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is focused on the incredibly catchy new single “Time Bomb” from Birmingham, UK trio Terror Watts. It’s the second single from the band’s fantastic self-titled debut EP, out now via PNKSLM Recordings.

Terror Watts are Tom Hughes (vocals/guitar), Jake Wilks (bass) and Olly Caunce (drums), three friends who had previously played together in a rockabilly band called The Cedar House before parting ways and each moving on to new adventures in different countries. In 2016 they all found their way back to Birmingham where the pull of music and friendship reunited the musicians to reform into a garage rock powerhouse of super surf-guitar riffs and California beach-time vibes not exactly associated with a city located in the middle of England.

We think “Time Bomb” is the perfect addition to your summer time/fun time playlist and should be played at full blast while practicing the Watusi, or the Stomp, or everyone’s favorite the Hitchhike. Terror Watts’ sound transports you away from the daily humdrum of 9-5 life and right to your favorite ocean side town with a push of the play button. Although getting in the car and driving there while playing “Time Bomb” is a better option.
