We have been huge fans of the Scottish band since their outstanding debut album, *These Four Walls*, was released in 2009. Since that time it’s been a hectic few years of writing, recording and touring for the band. With 2011’s *In the Pit of the Stomach* and 2014’s *Unravelling* the guys have traveled the world numerous times over, growing their fan-base exponentially in every country they visited. That kind of non-stop schedule would take a toll on anybody! They returned home to reconnect with family and focus on writing the new record, which will be self-released on September 14th. We Were Promised Jetpack are Adam Thompson (vocals/guitar), Michael Palmer (guitar), Sean Smith (bass) and Darren Lackie (drums), and as I have said many, many times here on the site…these guys are a force to be reckoned with live! We are very fortunate here in Boston because they frequent our city on a regular basis and will return once again on Friday, October 26th for a stop at Brighton Music Hall. One word. GO!
