[L]ast we heard from Generationals, they had released one of my favorite albums of last year, Actor Castor. I’m so pleased to have finally heard they are releasing new music, in the form of an EP. Check out “Lucky Numbers,” a shimmering, pop number that has a bit of an electronic feel a la Passion Pit.

1 CommentGreenleaf After releasing their ‘Trust EP’ in late 2010 Generationals were already putting the finishing touches on their next album, entitled Actor-Castor. This album is the summation of their recordings over the summer of 2010 and will be released next month (March 29). This new track, is a delightfully shiny, playful track with poppy keyboards a bouncy bassline and steady drums. In their second release, Trust (EP), the band is transitioning from a jangling, sun-kissed sound to a more popcentric more hypnotic, textured, sound.
