The month of February is over and we’re well on our way into 2018 now and as the temperatures warm up the new music is flowing. New stuff from Eels, to Chromeo, CHVRCHES, Caroline Rose, Courtney Barnett, Field Report and so much more. I’m so so stoked on this mixtape and I hope you like it as much as I do. As always, let us know what we’ve missed (if anything), and please do enjoy.

Mixtape | December 2017

Press Play Our final month of the year has officially been closed. This has been a fantastic music year, and I’ve been having a lot of fun putting together these monthly mixes again. It’s great to chronicle a year based on what you’ve been listening to, and we’re so lucky these days to have enough new music each month to put together these. I hope you enjoy some new tunes over your holiday break, and please let me know what I might have missed this month.

Jonathan Wilson – Love to Love

[C]oming up on his next record, Fanfare, Jonathan Wilson brings “Love to Love,” a west coast styled classic rock tune that is a pleasure to listen to. It’s a little bit Tom Petty, and it makes me love it. I especially love the break down, where the piano and guitar solo entwine, it’s a really nice moment. Jonathan Wilson’s Fanfare comes out on October 14 through Bella Union in the UK/Europe and Downtown in the US.
