Press Play! Summer is in full force, July has been a great month to us. We’ve got the reemergence of Wolf Parade!! new song from St. Vincent, records from Arcade Fire and Toro y Moi, and tons of stuff in between. Halfway through the year, and still on a roll with such great, fresh music coming out each month. This month’s mixtape is super exciting as always, there’s a great variety of music that I’m excited about. High on my list is Son Little’s Blue Magic, which I haven’t been able to put down. Leave a Comment[M]anchester Orchestra released a second single from their upcoming record, Cope, with the straight-forward guitar driven tune “Every Stone,” a bright, airy, roll down the windows kind of rock track that will have you singing along with Andy Hull by the first refrain. Look for Cope, due out April 1, 2014.

26 Comments[T]his is a righteous collaboration, Frightened Rabbit & Manchester Orchestra teamed up on 1/2 of a 12″ single for Record Store Day with this tune titled “Architect.” It’s a tenderly plucked confessional that begs for more collaboration between these two awesome bands. [A]nd on the other side of the special 12″ is “Make It To Me,” a collaboration between between Manchester Orchestra & Grouplove. It’s a rock tune with Grouplove’s electronic grooves, it really does feel like a smooth amalgamation of the two bands’ sounds.
