Nada Surf – Waiting For Something Dropping very soon, Nada Surf is releasing a second single off their upcoming album, The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy is out 1/24 on Barsuk.  The single in question is “Waiting For Something,” which feels quite like vintage Nada Surf, a sterling, sparkling, powerpop gem. Nada Surf – When I Was Young Nada Surf is about to release their 7th record (4th on Barsuk), The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy, which will release next year (1/24/12). I’m digging this one because its reminding me of old tunes of theirs. I love how the lightly played acoustic part relents to a plugged in electric affair. Its a really nice full sound, and I’m looking forward to hearing the album next year.
