# The Luyas at the Paradise Tonight

Tonight at the [Paradise Rock Club](http://www.thedise.com/?ref=musicsavage.com), we can welcome The Luyas with open arms. Their upcoming album, Too Beautiful to Work will be released on February 22 (February 21, in the UK). I’ve gotten a chance to listen to the album, its a collection of echo-drenched space-age pop songs, its futurist but retro at the same time.

The Luyas had a lot of help on the album as well. They enlisted talented friends such as Owen Pallett on violin, Colin Stetson adds saxophone and clarinet, Sarah Neufeld (who plays in a band called Arcade Fire) also plays violin.

The Luyas’ vision stretches beyond the grooves of their new LP. This band led 50 unsuspecting fans in Brooklyn to a secret location where the band performed alongside a psychedelic lightshow in a bedroom.
