# Two new tracks from Noah & the Whale

Noah and the Whale’s debut album, *Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down*, quickly became one of my favorite albums in 2008 with great tracks like 2 atoms in a molecule, shape of my heart and 5 years time. Fast forward to album number 3, *Last Night On Earth* which the band will release in March 2011.

Released yesterday, the first single from the track is streamable above. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. sounds like a brighter, friendlier version of Tom Petty’s Don’t Come Around Here No More. It’s got warm melodies and a sing songy feel and its extremely exciting to see where else the album goes.

The second single released, [Wild Thing](http://www.musicsavage.com/music/Noah%5Fand%5Fthe%5FWhale%5F-%5FWild%5FThing.mp3) is a down-tempo electronic almost new wave(y) track with a slow and steady rhythm subtle melodies and shimmering electronic effects.

These two tracks lead to a very exciting March release.
