The Middle East may have hung up their collective instruments, but they still released a stellar album in I Want That You Are Always Happy. Its definitely going to be tops in some album lists this year. Their first single off the album is “Jesus Came To My Birthday Party,” a sunny, exuberant, guitar-driven pop gem. The band threw a competition to make the music video for the single. The contest drew entries from around the world (all of which can be viewed at genero.tv/themiddleeast).
