[I]’m so absolutely pleased to have the honor to put this up finally, I know how much effort and hard work the boys of Larcenist have gone through to finally get this record right where they wanted to. I’d say their patience has paid off, Eager City, Patient City is a wonderful wonderful record. It laces beautiful sounding folk music full of gang harmonies, sweeping stringed instruments, and an a lyrical earnestness that bears the aura of passing times of downtrodden rurality. It feels classically vintage and tastefully modern, as they blend together the elements of folk, country, soul and rock. Give this one a listen, and let the record take your day over.
The boys hit the road to promote Eager City, Patient Country early January with a hometown show at Great Scott on Saturday the 19th to celebrate the album’s release.
