A little bit different of a sound here, more electro-pop rather than their previous sunny, west coast surf pop. Junip – Näckrosdammen by Mute Artists Junip today released Näckrosdammen, an instrumental piece in anticipation of the release of a new digital EP featuring “in Every Direction”, a few new songs and remixes. No date for the bundle yet, but as always this is a super smooth jam, Junip’s laid-back latin influenced style is really great to listen to and totally beautiful.

Together they form a young supergroup that I couldn’t be more excited to hear them play together. Timber Timbre – Black Water by Arts & Crafts
Remember that creepy intro video for Timber Timbre? Well they’ve released a track off their upcoming album, ‘Creep on Creepin On’ (awesome title) which is out 4/5/11. The single, ‘Black Water’ is a stripped down, haunting, downtempo number that is sure to chill you to your bones. It’s cinematic in nature, and kind of unnerving but totally awesome.

Today they released Valentines track ‘How Does it Feel to Be in Love’ for sale / name your own price on bandcamp. The song is super catchy, fun, and highly repeatable.
