We’re 11 months down in 2018, and yet another mixtape here to soothe your need for the month of December. I’m stoked on this months mixtape, lots of good stuff from all over the sonic landscape. Take a listen, follow the playlist, and share it with your friends.

The great thing about being so late to releasing the August mixtape is that September is here, and the mixtape is ready to go. It goes without saying but I think this mixtape is really great, and I’m digging the heck out of the songs that are on it. Please do let me know if you’ve heard stuff that we missed this month.
Leave a CommentI’m super late (vacation, and some technical issues) to getting this to ya’ll but hey music is music. August was a pretty great month for new music, with new music from some of our favorites like Aaron Lee Tasjan, Ron Gallo and Tallest Man on Earth. But we saw and heard great tunes from all over. Please do let us know if we’ve missed any songs that you are loving right now.
Leave a CommentSongs that we think you should hear without all the pomp and circumstance. Mythical // Generationals Mississippi // The Secret Sisters St. Sebastian // Sam Patch Habbie Doobie // The Texas Gentlemen Subway Surfer // Fruit & Flowers One of These Days // Bedouine Signs of Life // Arcade Fire
Leave a CommentAnother fantastic month of new music, and it was quite a feat just to get this down to 40 songs. Let us know what we missed, or what you like in the comments below.
Leave a CommentAnother great month of music, almost too much of it, to keep the format of 40 songs from the month I ended up pulling a few favorites. But there are some great songs in here, and I know I will continue to come back to this mixtape as the year goes along. I’ve had a ton of fun putting this together, and hope you enjoy.
Leave a CommentFebruary is always a fantastic month for new music. With SXSW right around the corner, it’s a huge driver for new music and this year was another great one. Now that February is over and we are two months down into this year, it’s time once again to get our monthly mixtape into your hands. We’re psyched to hear new songs from Blondie (yes that Blondie), Andrew Combs, Matt Vazquez, the Shins, Foxygen, Father John Misty and tons more. I’ve had a ton of fun putting this together, and hope you enjoy.
Leave a Comment[S]ummer jams are still in season, I don’t really care what you say; and Generationals new one, “Black Lemon,” off their upcoming record Alix, is just that. A bouncy, islandy, marimba based jam I’ve had blasting on my headphones, bobbing my head like a dope. Alix will be the band’s 4th record, and based on what we’ve heard, is very promising, not to mention they enlisted Richard Swift to produce it, I’d imagine it will be the perfect end to another great summer. Alix comes out Sept. 16.
