New Music | Radiation City – Juicy

Sometimes it’s just best to go your separate ways when a relationship isn’t working out. But sometimes, sticking it out just a bit longer can bring forth some interesting results. As is the case with Radiation City’s founding couple, Cameron Spies and Lizzy Ellison who as their band and personal relationship was crumbling, got back into the studio to record another album. Radiation City – Babies Dream poppers Radiation City released another single titled “Babies,” off their The Hands that Take You full length.  Babies is a dreamy, distant feeling track similar to their “Color of Industry,” that is driven by a  subtle drum loop and employs tons of vocal reverb.  Its a slow burner track that gets better with more listens. New Music | Radiation City -The Color of Industry

Radiation City – The Color of Industry 60’s pop seems to have been in a state of revival over the last two years or so, and this is yet another one that is emulating that style.  Radiation City is a sunny 60’s girl group influenced pop  band with a wonderful lo-fi sound danceable rhythms and a light as a feather vocal style.  Check out ‘The Color of Industry’ off their upcoming record The Hands that Take You, out 9/27.
